Project Partners

The continuing success of the project depends on bringing more partners into the project so our growth will continue at present rates. There are many benefits of becoming a partner church including:

  • Direct relational involvement with a Farm Field School (FFS) and its local community – all our Project Partners love the fact that they not only know where all their money goes, they can see who it helps, see the differences over the 3 years of the farm school, and have a chance to get to know and build relationship with the members. Many churches encourage letter writing between members of their church and their farm school. The relationship goes on beyond the school's three year programme, as each FFS continue to meet and run a demonstration plot.
  • Opportunities to visit the project – generally 1 week long, getting insights into the project, the community, as well as plenty of opportunities to minister in the power of the Spirit.
  • Opportunities to grow in faith by seeing healings and miracles while visiting.
  • Opportunity to let visits boost ministry and life of Partners at home. Team members return home with bolstered faith to see the same here as they saw at the project.

There are three Levels of involvement for Project Partners:

General partner – many churches, businesses and individuals make an initial or regular donation to the project or a specific aspect of it while assessing their ability to take on a full FFS. Some churches often give part of their Harvest offering.

Full Farmer Field School partner - A commitment to partnering with one specific farm school for the three years of their assistance. Costs at present are £6,500 per year for three years. So far all churches who have started with one farm school have gone onto partnering a 2nd when the 1st FFS has finished it's training programme. All Project Partners have also visited with a team at least once.

Deanery Partner –Some project Partners have taken on the task of not only partnering one or more Farm schools but finding other churches/businesses/individuals whom they have a relationship with to become partners with them in a specific Deanery- usually 3-4 parishes.
