Signs of the Kingdom

As the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is preached in the Maseno area we are starting to see remarkable signs of the Kingdom. At first it was just visiting teams that witnessed amazing healings that often happened instantaneously, but after much investment in Church Leaders, Farmer Field School Facilitators, Mothers Union members and Orphan prayer teams, we are seeing many, many, healed. When teams are visiting they often go to the local market. As they meet people they offer prayer for anyone who is sick. One team that recently visited prayed for dozens of people, and every single person they prayed for was healed! Local leaders join the visiting team so that they can invite the people to their churches and experience more of the Kingdom of God.

The Gospel is preached and the sick are healed in their droves. We regularly see the deaf hear, the blind seeing and the lame walking. See some of the stories below and also some video testimonies of the impact in farmer's lives.

This group of farmers from Jesus is Lord Farm Field School, Esabalu Parish (with visitors present), had a number of illnesses and physical conditions that were healed in Jesus' name. After just a few minutes of prayer, all but two of the farmers prayed for were instantly healed of headaches, chest pains and fever, just to name a few!

See the video below with very heavy rain that was enjoyed after a prayer meeting with Church leaders in the Maseno region. During the prayer meeting, as we prayed for rain and refreshed our commitment to God, it rained so hard that we could not hear each other talk! It stopped soon and then a much longer rain storm came through late in the evening, when the video was taken. This was a blessing that farmers were desperate for, nearly a month later than normal for the 2012 long rains season.

This orphan boy has had further healing to his left eye that was previously opened up after many years of blindness. The damage around his eye, despite being able to see well, had meant he was unable to close his eyelid, causing headaches and lack of sleep.  After prayer, he was able to close his eye that night and have a good sleep without pain. One of the members of the Orphan prayer team had helped to pray for him.

This small child had a fever from malaria. She was prayed for and 10 minutes later she was healed and back to normal.

This lady was completely bent over and crippled – she was prayed for over two days and completely restored.

This girl had scoliosis of the spine – she was prayed for after the Jesus film and her back completely straightened up and she could walk normally for the first time.
